Author Guidelines
- Articles submitted to the Journal should normally be between 5,000 to 7,000 words or between 10-22 pages with single space and should be accompanied by an abstract of not more than 150-200 words, containing the importance of the topic, the gap between theory and practice or between reality and expectation, or lacks of studies, objectives of the present study, method, findings, and conclusion.
- On the abstract, explicitly write in bold: Introduction, objective of the papers, method, findings, and conclusion.
- The script is typed in the form of a soft file using Microsoft Word (with the format: *.doc/*.docx/*.rtf, not the *.pdf format).
- The manuscript is written with A4 paper size, spaced 1,5 pt with a length between 13-20 pages. The left, right, top and bottom margin boundaries are 2.54 cm (Normal) respectively. The type of font used is Constantia with a size of 12 pt. Please download the article template that has been provided on the OJS page.
- The Journal operates a peer review process and promotes blind reviewing. To facilitate this process, author’s names (without academic titles), institutional affiliations, and the email address of the corresponding author should appear only on a detachable cover sheet.

Introduction | Contains the background and problems of the research, and its purpose is concisely between 4-7 paragraphs. |
Method and Research Focus | Contains the research methods used and the focus of the study and the scope of the study. |
Conceptual Framework & Library Review (optional) | Contains scientific concepts and approaches used and libraries that support research as a scientific review. |
Results & Discussion | Contains a description and description of the results of the study. |
Conclusion | Contains the conclusion of the research results in one paragraph of a maximum of 300 words, not a summary of the discussion. |
Acknowledgments (optional) | Contains the author's gratitude to those who support the implementation of the research. |
Reference | Contains a list of sources and references referenced in the article. (APA 6th style) |
- The references used in writing the article are listed with the sidenote citation technique (side notes) APA 6th style. Other citation techniques such as footnotes are not recommended to be used to make citations or references more efficient and space-saving. As for citing sources or information that are very important to include, it is permissible to use the endnote citation technique which is located after the References list.
- The writing of sources or references is arranged in a section entitled References, not using the title Bibliography. Writing sources or references uses the standard rules used by the social sciences, namely American Psychological Association 6h edition (APA 6th style). References are arranged alphabetically.
- Authors are advised to use the Reference Manager feature to make it easier to write and cite automatically, either using the Microsoft Word feature (Menu Bar: Reference/Citation & Bibliography) or other software such as Mendeley, EndNote, or Zotero.
- The manuscript should cite an earlier article ever published by El Tarikh if it has a common topic.
- The manuscript is sent in the form of a soft copy online through the OJS (Online Journal System) website at the link: http:......... Please note down your username and password to make it easier for you to log in again. If any problems are found, please contact the editor via email.
- The manuscript to be published must meet the requirements and eligibility through the stages predetermined by the editor, namely: examination of incoming articles by editors, correspondence between editors and authors, review of articles by reviewers, editing by editors, and publication of articles.
- Rejected manuscripts will be returned to the author with written notice from the editor.
- During the process of submitting the manuscript to publishing, the author will receive: a certificate of having sent the manuscript and a certificate of publication of the manuscript.
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
- If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
